The
Mobile Veterinary service unit has been launched here at Sagroli as a part of
welfare of farming community co-financed by Clearing Corporation of India. Comprising one veterinary doctor and four
supervisors the unit will keep on
visiting near by twenty eight villages.
Their motives are to educate cattle owners to adopt the scientific
livestock management practices, follow regular
vaccination and deworming and dispense de-wormers and other medicines to
live-stock owners. They have also plans
to conduct demonstrations and arrange camps.
At the flag-off ceremony project directors of SSM and Shri Suresh
Kulkarni of KVK were present. Farmers
lauded the efforts of KVK.
